The joint capsule collection is a way to bring rest and replenishment into your life.

The joint capsule collection is a way to bring rest and replenishment into your life.

With $8 ginger shots on every block, health and wellness culture are on the rise. Markets have caught up to our concern for our well-being. But what’s more refreshing than feeling empowered in your own skin? Sporty & Rich knows this well, employing a mission of self-care through luxury and leisure. The two designers collaborated to create a capsule collection that celebrates the health and well-being of each individual. Combining the sportswear aesthetics of Adidas with the health-centered ideals of Sporty & Rich, the joint collection is perfect for anyone trying to look and feel their best.

The collection includes several iconic Adidas garments that have been reimagined. Stan Smith, Samba OG, and Campus 80s footwear. Designed to support the wellness mission. There are two options for colors. Each has a base of white and is accented by burgundies and rich greens. You can also check out the new Campus 80s and a reimagined Stan Smith. Each garment is composed of the brand’s iconic Beckenbauer Pique fabric and finished with an internal print of Sporty & Rich’s mantra: good health starts here.

As is the Sporty & Rich style, the joint capsule collection also features an extensive photo campaign showing off the garments and their utility. Models are photographed in the shrouds and athleticism of Adidas culture as well as in relaxed positions. In this way, the campaign highlights exactly what the collaboration does well, combining the brute strength of Adidas with the health center of Sporty & Rich.

Adidas has shown a new side with the capsule collection, which takes sportswear in a different direction. We think of athleticwear as ornaments for competition animals and the permanent choices of gym rats. You don’t need to be an athlete to wear sportswear, though. With the rise of athleisure and the movement towards low-competition workout trends, it seems that sportswear may be moving away from its “sports” core. These garments are designed to empower you and make you feel free and confident. By partnering with Sporty & Rich, Adidas is able to recognize this dual facet of athleticism.
