Fire at garment factory in Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar, 4 rescued – ThePrint – PTIFeed


New Delhi, Oct 24 (PTI) Four people were rescued from a garment factory in East Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar area after it caught fire on Monday on Diwali, officials said.

According to them, one firefighter was injured in the incident.

According to fire officials the fire department reported the fire at 6.50pm from Raghubar Pura-2, Street number 12.

The department sent 10 fire tenders to the spot to extinguish the flames.

The fire broke out on the third floor, and four people were pulled from it. A senior fire official added that the fire had been brought under control. One fireman was also saved. PTI NIT CK
