Uniform Advantage Launches Three Sustainable Scrubs Collections

Uniform Advantage launches new eco-friendly collections from Healing Hands, Grey’s Anatomy™ by Barco Scrubs and Dickies

Uniform Advantage is a multichannel retailer that sells uniforms to the healthcare and hospitality industries. Three new eco-friendly scrubs are now available.

Healing Hands® 360, Grey’s Anatomy™ Evolve Sustainable Stretch and Dickies® Riveting are all made of fabrics that utilize yarns created from recycled plastic bottles – a feature UA® CEO Susan Masimore said is increasingly important.

Masimore stated that they are always searching for new and innovative options in scrubs. “Sustainability is something our customers ask for and it’s right to do. Better for the environment, better for people. “This is a concept that resonates strongly with health professionals.”

Healing Hands® 360 is a premium collection featuring 4-way stretch and moisture wicking, made of a blend containing polyester recycled from eight plastic bottles per garment. UA will be offering seven styles of the collection for women and five styles for men.

“This premium, athleisure inspired line is made of one of the most innovative recyclable fabrics available. Each piece in the new 360 Collection contains plastic water bottles, which might otherwise go into a landfill,” said Milo Slattery – Chief Product Officer, Careismatic Brands.

Grey’s Anatomy™ by Barco Evolve Sustainable Stretch is a mid-tier price 4-way stretch collection made from recycled PET bottles and eco-conscious CiCLO® fiber – helping to heal the planet one scrub at a time. UA is carrying three styles for men and five styles for women.

Barco’s innovation legacy has been centered on caring for the healthcare community and honoring it. Grey’s Anatomy is Barco Evolve’s continuation of mission, which was inspired by the next generation of healthcare professionals. The Barco Family said, “We believe that this new collection is deserving of their service and care in healing people all over the world while caring for our planet.”

Dickies® Riveting is a mid-tier collection featuring a durable 4-way stretch fabric that blends a soft polyester blend and recycled material from plastic water bottles. The scrubs are utilitarian with contrast topstitching and rivets. UA is carrying five styles in Riveting for women.

Milo Slattery said, “The Dickies Riveting Double-stitched Detail and strategically placed non-conductive rivets not only add style, but they also make these items more durable.” “It has a retro-cool feel and a thoughtful approach to design, perfect for today’s healthcare professional.”
