STS Inks Introduces Advanced DTF At Printing United Expo
STS Inks unveiled its DTF series printers during the Printing United Expo. Built with advanced Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing capabilities, the Japanese-made 1682D 64” DTF Printer provides a staggered dual-head design that provides ultra-fast print speeds and is coupled with the STS 48” automatic shaker for increased workflows and processing speeds.
STS will also reveal the new features of its exclusive STS Inks XPD-724D in January 2023. This debut will deliver high-quality output and high production thanks to its user-friendly maintenance and operation.
The increased performance is associated with an integrated white ink circulation system, which allows for the unimpeded flow and free flow of ink directly onto the print head. This ensures optimal results. Both the 1682D and upcoming XPD-724D pair with STS’s DTF ink, which offers users excellent color gamut and outstanding durability.

DTF offers many advantages over traditional DTG (Direct to Garment) technology. This is because it can print onto non-treated cotton fabrics, as well as denim and nylon. It also wears much faster. DTF can be printed onto silk, cotton, polyester, denim and nylon as well as leather and 50/50 blends. You can choose from a matte or glossy finish and it works on both white and dark textiles.
