Duchess Sophie looking fab in ‘chic’ country look at Windsor Horse Show with Lady Louise

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh watched the Driving Marathon at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Windsor Castle accompanied by her daughter Lady Louise. The Duchess wore her Alberta Ferretti green maxi skirt to brighten up the day.

Sophie opted to rewear her floaty forest green skirt by Alberta Ferretti, which used to retail for £855 on Farfetch.

The Duchess styled the skirt to match a burgundy shirt and an oversize jacket in brown. The country chic outfit was completed by a pair beige chunky booties.

Sophie wore her hair in a low, effortless bun today and matched earrings and a necklace with gold.

Sophie wore this skirt when she visited a Uttoxeter manufacturing plant last year.

Last year, the royal wore the same outfit to visit the Guide Dogs Reading Hub Facility. She paired it with a black turtleneck and a black blazer.

Alberta Ferretti’s high-waisted pleated mid-skirt featured a wrap-style design with pleat detailing. It also included slip pockets on the side and gold-toned hardware.

Sophie’s forest brown maxi skirt, for example, is inspired by the elegant designs of this sophisticated Italian style label, which is “renowned” for its elegant draping techniques and tucking.

The Duchess, dressed in a stylish equestrian outfit, was pictured today crossing a river while balancing atop stones at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Sophie also wore one of her favourite dresses from Giambattista Valli, the Floral-Print Cap-Sleeve Midi Shirtdress.

On the first morning of the show, the duchess wore her black and white print dress with a beige raincoat. She also wore thick leather boots in black.

Sophie was present to watch her daughter Lady Louise’s performance at the opening of this annual event. However, the young royal enjoyed the show with her mother on the second day.
